Mixer Out's - Cables - Question
Posted on: 02.09.2013 by Jacqualine Cieplik
Hey Guys,

I am very confused with all different cable names and outs on mixers.

I am selling my S4 and replacing it with a K2 to run with an external Mixer however this only has RCA outs.

I am used to using 1/4jack to XLR cables for my S4 for when I play at my local bar.

Is there an adapter that would be suitable for my RCA outs to fit these cables 1/4 Jack? Or should I just buy some RCA - XLR cables for my main out?

My Monitor and Amp are RCA Friendly.

Thanks,

Xian

If your amp is RCA friendly, then just go RCA to RCA

Pick what you need. Seems like xlr isn't an option.

Your mixer outputs Rca
Rca-Rca Rca-Jack ... Rca-Xlr in case? (if you ever have to play through a DI box)

Maybe a pair of these adapters with a standard RCA cable?
