Maybe you saw some cool mixer in a club and had no idea what it was....

Or your an A & H nut and you thought you knew every dj mixer they made, but there there was one more hahaha!

Really I'm just super bored at work today, so I figured i'd do something productive.

So in no particular order..... Start Scrollin'!!

The Xone DB4

The Xone DB2

The Xone 4D

The Xone 3D(Had 2 Color Variations)

The Xone 42 (Had 2 color Variations)

The Xone 2D (Had 2 color Variations)

The Xone 1D (Had 2 color variations)

___________________________

The Xone DX

The Xone 02 (Had 2 "Design" Variations)

The Xone 22

The Xone 32 (Had 2 Color Variations)

The Xone 62 (Again comes in 2 colors!)

The Xone 92

The Xone 464 (Came in 2 colors)

The Xone S2

The Xone v6 (sometimes called the s6) (can a man have true love for a dj mixer......???)

Some are questioning how to EQ with that v6....hmmm.....bum bum BUM!!!

The VF1! The ideal way to use these is to have 6 of them through the 6 independent send returns of the v6. Analogue Sweetness

I believe that's it....whew Quite a history of making fine DJ mixers!!

Did I miss one let me know. (the k2 hmmm.. maybe, but I don't believe it can mix external sources.)

Also I wanna hear your story about your FAVORITE A & H mixer!

You'd be correct. It's been 10 months since the last update. I understand that they want to release a good update, so patience is key.

Also, @ DarioJ, you mentioned the "For Sale" section in relation to Xones. What trend were you noticing?
There are a few DB series up for sale (3 in the past month), all at great prices though.

I also have the one of the first 3 Xone:92's to get to Australia. The Importer kept 1 for trade shows till good stocks arrived, a shop in Sydney got one and so did I (I work in a shop in Melbourne). I still use it each week, an awesome mixer!

I also had a Xone:4D but it was all Silver ... sold it before I got stuck into controllers properly, looking back at it now it was probably the best mixer that I have ever had and would suit me perfectly these days ... I now use my 92 and a pair of X1's with Traktor.

Prior to '94/'95 the vast majority of Mixers (sub $1500) did not have Channel EQ's. Hell most did not even have Master EQ's !

How did we survive

Plenty of Folks who use rotary's tend to go spend the extra cash and go modular for some weird reason.

I would rather look at nice, expensive, extensive DJ and sound setups rather than cars ANYDAY. Also, a girl hovering over a set of technics with headphones on is WAY sexier than a girl trying to hug an import car. Somehow I feel it is more subtle and intelligent when an attractive woman djs rather than stripping down to a bikini to take a pic with a car she"ll never own. Of course, there are a ton of slutty female djs who HAVE to dj with titties out, but I believe that shit is horrible for the actual female djs who can both spin and are attractive.

That V6 is something else.. Quite sexy for it's time.

Have a DB4 here but unfortunately it had an accident and the channel A looper knob was knocked off (long story). Slowly over time my DB4 is having issues powering up and such due to what I believe is something being grounded that shouldn't be. DB4 is going back for repair friday.

In the meantime a 92 is on the truck waiting for delivery so I am anxious to get back to 4 band eq's for a while!!

Nice thread 031999!

I love the DB4 enough not to go through the hassle of swapping out a full-digital setup for an analogue one. Besides, have you seen the for sale section lately... LOL.

There was also a Chrome Plated Xone 464 or 92 (I believe) which I had the pleasure of playing on.

I have a feeling it may have only been a prototype though and was the first A&H I ever encountered. I remember my mind was blown with the filters and 4 band EQ.

If I owned one of those, I wouldn't mix with it. I would frame that sh-t. Just so beautiful to look at, no need to even hook it up, haha.

Bartmixer on the community s here is one of the few members I've seen rock these types. The V6 is on my list of mixers to try along with the ones listed above...

A good DJ doesn't need all the bells and whistles on modern mixers. They make do with song selection coupled with incredible sound quality from one of these, a bozak, Urei or some of then newer rotary analogue mixers.
dont forget that badass VF1 check out the OP i posted a picture.
