Can I get some help with loop mappings please? Ok, so how I've been working with loops is to have either; loops already set up on a track and when that track is loaded I hit the active button which I have mapped to my controller, and obviously that then loops the track once it gets to that loop point. I then hit "active" to turn the loop mode off. The other way is to have the loop "in" and "out" buttons mapped to my controller and manually make a loop on the fly, then again hit "active" to turn the loop off. I now want to work with auto looping and add the mapping to my controller, so that when I hit a button it automatically makes say a 4 bar loop. What I would like, if possible, is to be able to hit that same button again and have it halve the length of the loop every time I push it. What I would also like is to have along side that button, one that when it is pushed, again it makes say a 4 bar loop but if I push it again it doubles the length of the loop every time it is pushed. In order to get out of the loop I would like to use the existing "active" button. So basically I can make a loop and adjust the length to be longer or shorter with the same 2 buttons. If somebody could talk me through what I need to set up in the controller manager to achieve this I'd be most appreciative. I have looked in the manual but they explain in a way I can't really get my head round. Another button I would like to map is a "go back to last loop" button, if there is such a thing. So say I have a track looping with a loop I made on the fly, then I turn the loop off, if I decide to go back into that same loop later on in the track is there a way to hit one button that will make it jump back to the last loop and have it activated? Thanks in advance for any help | |
