VCI-100, Tempo Range, Base deck tempo
Hey gurus,

I have a VCI-100 (I believe it is firmware 1.0) with Traktor 1.2.3. As you know the VCI-100 pitch faders are have a much shorter throw than a traditional turntable or CDJ. I always felt they where too short for a +/-8% pitch, and therefore being to sensitive. I was stoked when NI implemented the ability to change the the tempo range so I could adjust the pitch faders to a range that feels more appropriate. The problem I have is that I always spin my tracks at a base tempo of about +4%. What I want to do is maintain a smaller pitch range control from the VCI-100 pitch fader (i.e. +/-4%), but set the base tempo of the deck to +4%. So basically when my VCI-100 pitch fader is in the the center position I would be playing my track at +4%, and have a +/-4% range to use from this base pitch. How might I accomplish this? Thanks in advance for any help you guys might be able to provide.

All the best!
