Reply to Loops, goin from 16 to 4 on VCI-100, how??

Hi guys,
as in the topic, Ive watched some good vids with DJs shortening loops like 16-8-4-1-1/4, creating that maschine gun sound, you know what I mean.
I use Vestax VCI -100 the genuine software, no changes in mapping.
Can I somehow change the lenght of the loop using my Vestax and Traktor Scartch Pro? I believe I tried every combination and cant figure it out :/
