which transport buttons do you use?
so on my vci's, i have two transport buttons mapped, one is the CUE function, and the other is the CUP function. i took this idea from the older DJTT traktor 3 mappings, which utilized these settings with macro mappings even though the CUP function didnt exist at the time. To play the track, you use the CUP function, to cue up the track you use the CUE function, and to stop the track you use the CUE function also, however ive noticed that it will always take you back to the original cue point you started from, which can sometimes cause problems... (albeit very minor)

Now ive noticed that when i spin on cdj's, such as the pioneers or denons, the two transport buttons that are used are the play/pause buttons and the CUE buttons. You can cue up a track with the CUE button, then while holding the CUE button, if you press the play/pause button, the track will continue to play. The advantage of this is that you can pause the track wherever it is, without it jumping back to the previous cue point.

I have been believeing of implementing this second technique on my tsi, but am wondering what do you guys perfer and why?
