Dubspot APC40 mapping

Just watched this video
http://blog.dubspot.com/steinskis-du...on-the-apc-40/

at 3:00

Half of the launch grid is remapped and some FX on faders and knobs
Is this kind of midi-translator or max4live? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Your right but they can be lit in a number of ways....

You can send midi back to them by triggering a clip with envelopes drawn in it...

You can use bomes to interpret signals from the APC40 and create a loop back to control the lights...

Python and a new control script....

Or you can use Max4Live and really take things to another level!!

Cheers

Ummm... without watching the video, it's probably neither. I'd guess it's just a combination of python scripting and regular MIDI mapping.
