Hercules RMX with Kontrol X1

Who has this setup? I am having issues with mapping both to Traktor Pro.

I can get some of the functions on the x1 working, but the effects/looping do not work at all. The RMX works, but only the levels, jog wheels, and play and pause...

I hope there is a simple solution!

If you want to do your own mappings, I suggest the Traktor manual. It's easy enough, but time consuming. I mapped them out myself for disability/accessibility reasons, if not for that I'd have just used mappings from here.

Good luck! I'm believeing about getting an X1 for xmas actually. I need more knobs and buttons as multiple shift functions are hard for me to use ( I essentially have to DJ one handed).

A set of the rubberized knobs helps the RMX out though, the stock knobs on it are rubbish.

I did notice using traktor with the RMX, the gain knobs work pretty flawlessly. SO i believe thats more of a virtual DJ error

The RMX is great I believe, the knobs dont bother me (however the X1 is definitly better)

But using the RMX with Virtual DJ sucks, simply because the gain knob is terrible, it skips all over and every song coming in and out is hard to get right.

Does everyone trust Traktors Autogain?

Thats it? Just a soundcard? Is the hook up easy? (As in, easy to do without disrupting the previous dj)

Now do the CDJ's become deck A-B ?

What mixer setting?

I simply cannot get both working togother. I can play one or the other very well, but the x1 is worthless IMO without a mixer. And the RMX sucks with effects/looping.

Im not sure WHAT the issue is. Any tutorials on setting up 2 midi devices?

What seems to be the issue? I have an RMX but it has a funky mapping to compensate for my Multiple Sclerosis (why I can't spin vinyl any more, too twitchy). I also have an O2v1 little keyboard so I've done cross controller mapping as a necessity.
