How to Setup Traktor using Xponent?? Newbie please dont Hate!

So recently just bought the Xponent and found that Torque is ok but would rather use Traktor while Djing. What is the most basic way i can Setup Traktor to use with my Xponent Controller? Is there a Step by Step page I might be able to look at? If anyone could help please, maybe point me to a link somewhere else on this Forum? Sorry again i know this gets asked alot prob but just been looking on the Internet for weeks now and cant Find Anything!

I also heard there is a way u can download a Midi map right into Traktor for the Xponent? If this is true could someone please send that link?

best way I found when I started using traktor is to,
1. install drivers for midi controller
2. open up traktor
3. open up preferences (cog wheel)
4. go to controller manager Its around the bottom of the list
5. look at your controller and pick out buttons you recognise like play/pause, cue... etc
6. select device and pic your controller and make sure its in the device in and out ports
7. click add in and go down this list clicking new controlls then pressing learn and pressing or turning the corrisponding buttons and knobs.

I know it probly sounds very straight forward and maybe sounds like im taking the piss a bit but I went from using virtual dj to traktor and found the best way to get and know a mapping is to make it your self, or even rob and exsisting one and edit it to suit. hope this helps,
Steven.

^ Locate the Xponent>Download>import to traktor via preferences (button at the bottom of the preferences window)

I would suggest learning how to map your own controls.
