I need some help with Typhoon mappings
Posted on: 14.12.2010 by Cammie Seablom
I would like to set the little + and - buttons on each deck (near the sync button) to scroll through my saved cues accordingly.

I tried to fiddle with the mappings but I kinda fucked it up.

Can somebody help me?

Video is recorded, just getting the voiceover done. Gimi a day or two. (I regrettably have real work to do as well)

Fine let's assume this is a bit hard to do. What about mapping them to scroll through deck A or B's effects?

After a lil thought im going to do a tutorial vid on modifiers, which will be centred around this.

Coming pretty soon.

Okay. I believe i could get this working. Your fist step is to have the +/- buttons increment and decrement a global modifier.

Then have several copies of the cue triggering mapping, each one for a different cue, but each one triggered only when its respective number is reached on the global modifier. This can be done by using a condition.

Let me know when you have done that and we shall see about saving cues.

I'd like to have the - for each decks respectively (A and B) to scroll to the left (previous) through stored cues and make the one selected the active one for the mix, and + for each decks to scroll to the right (next) through the stored cues and again make the one selected active for mixing.

Also, this could be mapped by having to hold the SHIFT button and then press the buttons.

I want this because I never use those buttons for anything, and because it is a pretty basic controller I'd like to use what I said instead.

Elaborate a little on what you mean by scrolling through the cues.
