Virtual DJ Controller issues w/ Hercules RMX
Posted on: 26.12.2010 by Joeann Silvestre
Hey evrybody

cant get my virtual dj version 6.0.2 pro to recognize my Hercules.

i tried using it with VDJ 5 but 1) its really lame and 2) i cant even get the sound to work for it after a few hours of tampering..

I really want this to work with my current version of VDJ!!! it has all the mappings for my controller saved in config-->mappers-->mappers options but VDJ just wont recognize it.

I know my drivers are installed correctly, i had the controller working for the most part with traktor but idkk wasnt diggin traktor too much with the herc.

any help??

why? youre using midi and serato is really limited in that department.

serato has less features, and im sure it only looks good because of who uses it. i dont blame you, im in a fit of rage though. i saw 3 people at school wearing beats

within 3 minutes.

But ive actually been using Traktor a lot more just because its better quality mixing. Now I just really want serato! lol

All I did was upgrade to VDJ 7 and it worked

try do this:
1)plug the rmx
2)wait a few minutes
3)start VDJ
4)hopefully start rocking!

Try plug the rmx first. after the flashing light on the rmx turend off the rmx icon(near the explorer clock) need to be just a black disk.
then open VDJ and 2 lights on the rmx shuld turn on.

also, an update to vdj 7 might help. i believe its a free update (im a traktor user, so im not sure)

i like how you bought both softwares, it shows how unlike many people, you are verry open minded.
this is total 'is your shit cracked' bait
try re mapping it yourself. maybe youre using older versions of the software that dont play nice with your maps
