LED Mapping
LED Mapping Posted on: 09.01.2011 by Rena Conde Hi All,Just finished my first mapping in Traktor Pro for a Numark Omni Controll. It's a 4 deck mapping using a couple a Shift buttons, its a pretty simple but highly effective mapping to be honest! BUT.......None of the LED's that I mapped match up with the corresponding buttons/faders etc. Can someone explain how to map LED's, I've basically copied the button/fader etc reference into the output for the LED's however none of the buttons correspond with the correct button? And I'm not sure how to rectify this? Once the LED's have been sorted I'll up load the mapping and a description so fellow Numark DJ's can give it a blast, I've also got a Korg NanoKontrol that I'm going to map to work along side the Omni as you can never have enough buttons!! Thanks in advance for your help. Olie | |

Cindi Freiler 12.01.2011 | you have to have the conditions for example mod #2 =1 or mod#1=1 |
Rena Conde 10.01.2011 | Hey Guys, Thanks for your help with this, I've managed to find a visual map showing what all the key's are relating to which LED should light up, which worked pretty well. There a couple of buttons that still dont light up however, The Pitch - and + buttons for Decks A and B, as well as the Directory Button. I've mapped the Pitch - and + buttons to be loop size increase and decrease, so they don't have to stay lit once pressed. I've also (attempted) to map the Directory button to switch between track list and tree list. Although this doesn't seem to work. I'd like this LED to stay lit when it's in the Tree select, and be off when scrolling through tracks. Also, my track scroll wheel in the centre of the deck doesn't seem to do anything any more. I've made the directory button Modifier #3, when set to M3=0 the centre scroll wheel should scroll through track selection, and when M3=1 the centre scroll wheel should scroll the through tree list. I've also mapped the scroll wheel to, when pressed and M3=1 to expand folders in tree, and when pressed and M3=0 to open up the track list in full page view. Currently when M3=0 and pressing the scroll wheel to view track list in full screen is the only function that works. Any help with this? If it makes sense of course. Thanks Olie |
Franklin Momany 09.01.2011 | Olies you need to add output (next to inputs) to your mapping. But I warn you its really a pain in the ass, as you have to manually/"learn" each note. |

s.com/2010/05/3...ds-in-traktor/ That's how I learned to map LED outputs. |
Cindi Freiler 09.01.2011 | Alright, what you do is basically copy all the inputs and change them into outputs.... post the mapping here and i'll do it for you. |
