Newcomer to DJing. Need help with Hercules RMX and Traktor Pro mapping.

Hey guys. Brand new to everything here. Picked up a Hercules RMX and Traktor Pro last week. Have everything up and running perfectly, as per the TSI file for the RMX.

Now I am pretty good with computers but just running into some confusion with mapping. I just cant grasp it. I am happy with the configuration that Hercules offered. All I would like to do is set it so holding down Scratch and using the Treble, Medium and Bass knobs will control the parameters of the effects on that deck. I really have no idea how to go about it. Any input would be great.

Also I have the most recent firmware of the RMX and latest update to Traktor Pro if that helps. Look forward to hearing from you all and contributing myself eventually once I learn the ropes.

I figured it out myself but thanks for getting me started. To anyone else who might stumble upon this thread, I followed the instructions from Maxted, then set the Modifier for Lows, Mids and Highs to M1=0 and set them to Soft Takeover.

Ahh! Thank you so much. That helps incredibly. Out of curiosity is there anyway to set it so that when I release scratch, the treble, mids and bass havent changed also. Or do I just got to be mindful of making sure its back in the right spot?

You're using the official mapping right?

Just go to the mapping window, add the commands for the effects parametres - use the learn function to map them to your high/mid/low - then in the modifier options change each one to M1=1.

Should now work
