Super Fx Button to map
Super Fx Button to map Posted on: 13.11.2010 by Charline Dye http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tce739CHTgAJust a quick vid on a fun Fx button or 2 to map. I know I whip over the mapping, but this is for some one who has already gotten basic mapping down. If you have any questions just ask. | |

Jacki Agrillo 01.02.2011 | Got something similiar for my Numpad. But i added a Modifier, so the button is also a Counter. Everytime you press it, it change the Modifier8 value +1. So i can switch between Effect values with the same Button. Cool for Beatslicer/Beatmasher added a simple example TSI for Keyboard/Numpad This Example turns your "Numpad 0" in a Beatslicer Button which:
now everytime you press the Button again, it change the values of the Beatslicer. At the End it turns all off. |

Shane Alberg 16.11.2010 | Thanks a lot! I can't wait to have a free hour and dedicate some of my keyboard or nanopad to this ... so much fun! |
Charline Dye 15.11.2010 | .25 on both filters and .15 on the T3 Reverb, dry/wet at .18 on the video, but since I have changed them slightly. with that setting on the filters the sweep is an odd amount of bars. Setting them both to .20 will give you an even 8 count. |
Bree Broch 15.11.2010 | and can you please tell us the value for the second combo in the video plz? thx |
Charline Dye 14.11.2010 | I use chained Fx in FX unit 1. If you are using unit 1 for advanced Fx, just map this to the Fx unit you have in chained mode. I will use unit 1 in my explanation. Open preferences, go to the controller manager. Select the controller which has the button you will be using to map this to. Select "Add In", Chained Fx, Effect Select 1 click "Learn" then push the button you will be using (you can just leave learn on, but don't press any other button on the controller till you turn it off) Select "Button", "Direct", "Delay", and Fx Unit 1 Select "Add In", Chained Fx, Effect Select 2 push the button you will be using Select "Button", "Direct", "Flanger", and Fx Unit 1 Select "Add In", Chained Fx, Effect Select 3 push the button you will be using Select "Button", "Direct", "Phaser", and Fx Unit 1 Select "Add In" Chained Fx, "Dry/ Wet" push the button you will be using Select "Button", "Direct", set value to 0.40, and Fx Unit 1 Select "Add In" Chained Fx, "Effect 1 Amount" push the button you will be using Select "Button", "Direct", set value to 0.50, and Fx Unit 1 Select "Add In" Chained Fx, "Effect 2 Amount" push the button you will be using Select "Button", "Direct", set value to 0.00, and Fx Unit 1 Select "Add In" Chained Fx, "Effect 3 Amount" push the button you will be using Select "Button", "Direct", set value to 0.00, and Fx Unit 1 Select "Add In" Chained Fx, "Effect 1 on" push the button you will be using Select "Button", "hold", and Fx Unit 1 Select "Add In" Chained Fx, "Effect 2 on" push the button you will be using Select "Button", "hold", and Fx Unit 1 Select "Add In" Chained Fx, "Effect 3 on" push the button you will be using Select "Button", "hold", and Fx Unit 1 Turn off Learn If you do not have an LFO reset button mapped you can do that by selecting "Add In" Chained FX LFO Reset Click "Learn" push button you will be using (cannot be the same one used for other mapping) then turn "Learn" off That wasn't as easy to put into text as I thought, lol. Hope that gets you going. |
Shane Alberg 14.11.2010 | I would love a text version of the specific steps you took? If it's not too much trouble... |
Charline Dye 13.11.2010 | lol, yeah I noticed my twang when I was editing. Enjoy the button! |
Leeanna Ayla 13.11.2010 | I may just swipe thet first effect from you. Nice to hear another southern accent btw. |
