Really new to midi mapping, x1 question

Hey all,

I picked up a x1 recently and love most of the functionality out of the box. It's perfect alongside my timecode setup.

I have 2 changes I would like though:

1. Have the controller in hotcue mode as the default automatically, as I have to press hotcue every time I start traktor.

2. Is there any way to make it so that to load a new track you have to press shift before you click down on the track select knob? I have hit it by accident once or twice trying to set a loop.

I don't know where to start, like I said, I'm really new to this stuff. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If these 2 functions were changed, I believe this would be the perfect controller mapping/setup for me.

I mapped the normal click in on the browse knob to switch between browser mode now.

I was poking around trying to find out how to change the default setting of the hotcue mode button, but couldn't find it. Is it more complicated than that? haha.

13.02.2011		Yes you may have to muck around in the controller editor to change that one. I Couldn't find any options in the mapping editor mate.
