NUMARK TOTAL CONTROL - Traktor PRO 1.2.4 (Want to duplicate DJTT VCI100 mapping)

Hey there all,

So I am semi-new to djing and a complete noob when it comes to mapping. I have watched the demo vids of the VCI100 mapping and love the features it has.
I understand that to toggle different modes you use a toggle moddifier, but still not quite sure how this is really done. Also with this mapping the effects are preset and loaded, I have been trying to figure this one out.

Sorry if any or all of this has been answered else where, but I am completely new to mapping. I have been starting on a 4deck mode with my TC and want to incorporate two more modes.
Using the two key buttons i figured I could create two more modes and then if both were depresed I could even have a fourth. Is this possible?

My Idea so far (looking for input here)
Mode 1 - Mixer Mode
Control Mixer controls with the whole TC.
5 faders means output levels and the crossfader can be controled, and with the 8 "fx" knobs and buttons can control all of the eq levels
Mode 2 - Focus Mode Scratch
Mode 3 - Fader FX
Mode 4 - (yet to be decided)

Alright so i just pounded out the bulk of this mapping... i have yet to get the second and third autoloading fx banks in... not sure what I want to use... one will have the beat masher... not sure what else to use... any ideas?

anyways~
i have included the tsi... it is meant to be for the Total Control, made on Traktor Pro 1.2.4

Check out the image included for controls. if you have questions don't be afraid to ask.

One difference in the drawing compared to the mapping is that the play, cue, and set cue buttons are now in reverse order... also the mapping is mirrored to the other deck on deck b.

Not included yet:
FX Autoload 2 and 3

Yes, i guess so... still yet the technique is perfect and when you map it like in the video it works!

Tried out a few different mappings and have found the features I really want!
I am basing my mapping off of stormeagle's mapping, you can check it out here: http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=10421

Features to Be Excluded:
The top left and right black knobs no longer control fx parameters the same.
the associated buttons no longer are used to activate various fx settings either.

Features to be included:

I found an awesome video with a great transition fx sweep. Its a ballin white noise sweep. Check out the link for the video to hear it. The video even shows YOU how to map it yourself... so i did! this is the first thing I really have done so far.
Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMbsA...eature=related
(This is useable at any time and auto assigns to the proper deck, a or b)

FADER FX MODE!
Yes that is correct TC users, fader fx mode similar to a vci-100. i am trying to include as much as i can. one limitation is the TC doesn't have a touchsensitive jog wheel. To overcome this I have decided to include two sets of effect on, off features.

In addition to this, the FADER FX mode operates similarly with the use of modifiers to be able to triger an fx on/off with a line or tempo fader.

Included also is the independent control of the second and third effects with the use of knobs.

since there are four knobs, I have decided the fourth will be a super knob. Not sure on the mapping for it quite yet.

There will be 3 fx modes directly mapped to buttons under the knobs that will load the respective fx, and route the proper bank to the deck. One button is used to engage fader fx mode.

NOTES
I do have two MF's and so each are using the deckalized mapping which are routed to decks a and b respectively. The TC mapping is meant to be an addition to this and therefore only utilizes the first FX Bank in chained mode.

The reason that I decided to do this is so I can use the shift command to put a auto filter sweep on a track or delay or reverb, AND mess with the sound beyond belief.

I have yet to experiment fully with the mixing usefulness of this mapping as I only have the mapping down for one side of the TC. I started working out the fader fx theory for this mapping, and have finally somewhat gotten it down and need to adjust the mapping.

As things come along, I'll let yall know how it comes and a possible release date for the mapping.

*Also, does anyone have a TSI merger? I can't seem to find the one on traktor bible... do i have to purchase the book to get it?, kind of low on cash here (being a college student doesn't help) This would really help with making this mapping.

I'll upload a scan of the diagram that i'm going to re-draw for the fader fx controls (just to tease yall...)

Aloha til then!

Try the map I've made. It's not what you've posted but has controls for all that and more.

so to explain my idea for the various "layers":

you have 2 buttons, A and B.

They both act as toggles.

If neither is toggled, your in mode 1
If A is toggled, your in mode 2
If B is toggled, your in mode 3
If A and B are toggled, your in mode 4

could this be done?

thanks for the help!!!

Yeah I already use StormEagle's original 2 channel mixxer setup with controls for the the fx and some cue stuff... i just want that fader fx mode so bad!!! lol its great stuff! I believe i could use it to really mash up some beats!

uh... hmmm....
to get 4 layers with 2 buttons
make it so when you hit shift you have a button that goes to layer 3 and another that goes to 4

protip: get stormeagles mapping and base it on that.
