Xone DX/Traktor map problem
Xone DX/Traktor map problem Posted on: 15.02.2011 by Korey Ehman HiGot a strange problem. When i use effects with the xone dx and traktor pro there is a delay in getting the dials and buttons on the effects unit to work. It doesent work at all at the start and then randomly starts working after youve played with the dials a bit. Does anyone know what is causing this? | |

Yon Gigler 22.02.2011 | Try using midiox: http://www.midiox.com/ Run that program and check the values when you move a dial/fader etc on the DX. If it doesn't pick them up right it may be a fault with the unit. I used it to determine the values when I had a faulty channel fader on mine. |
Korey Ehman 22.02.2011 | Ok, tested this the other evening . This doesen't seem to be the problem. I moved some of the dials up and down to catch the position of the software dials but it still doesent kick in instantly. It takes a few seconds of messing to get it going. Really temperamental. |
Korey Ehman 16.02.2011 | Ill investigate this toevening . Thanks. |
Tatum Ansaldo 16.02.2011 | as Zster said, sounds like soft takeover is enabled on the mapping. that means that the hardware knobs won't do anything until they are in the same position as the software knobs. |
Joya Pomerinke 16.02.2011 | And it isn't just because your dial has to pickup in traktor (If traktor is at 0% your dial has to go to 0% to "pickup" the internal dial) |
Yon Gigler 16.02.2011 | Do all the other buttons and fader work ok? |
