Venetta Cawyer 11.04.2011 | But learning trough others also means reading what was already posted by others But to answer your question: Yes, it's possible to have a deckalized and a instant gratification mapping on one Midi Fighter trough the "four banks mode". This allows the Midi Fighter to, like the name already reveals, have four banks in which each button has up to four addresses based on what bank the Midi Fighter is in. For example Button 1 in: bank1 = Channel 13 note F3 bank2 = Channel 14 note F3 bank3 = Channel 15 note F3 bank4 = Channel 16 note F3 But to pull this off with two Midi Fighters and 4 banks per Midi Fighter.. you'd want to be sure that all the banks don't interfere with one another because they're on the same midi channel. Check that out here In that same post is also described how to enable the "four banks mode". Good luck! |
Elfrieda Chernock 11.04.2011 | Isn't the best way to learn through others? IE a question? I just figured that would the the best way... |
Venetta Cawyer 10.04.2011 | With all the wealth of information here, why choose not to educate yourself a little? You'd end up making your own setup to how you like it, solve your own problems and create your personal midi heaven. and to answer your question.. Well, duh. |
Elfrieda Chernock 10.04.2011 | could the 1 deckalized and 1 IG be done in traktor pro 2? sorry if thats a "well duh" question just making sure |

Jan Tawzer 29.03.2011 | Please excuse my noob ?s im having trouble switching focus with mouse what could i possibly b missing? |
Corey Tronchin 28.03.2011 | I would throw in a Launchpad while you're at it, my god believe about the button-galore! |
Tatum Ansaldo 28.03.2011 | yes, just load the mappings in traktor (i recommend you do the IG one first, and use the big import button, ideally twice). Then select the midifighters in the input/output settings in controller manager. make sure you set each mapping to the same input and output midifighter. And if you're sure you ONLY want to control deck C don't use the focus mapping, use the standard deckalized and just delete the mappings for decks A, B and D. |
Bradford Grafer 28.03.2011 | you could load one MF with the deckalized-focus map which could control all 4 decks, and instant gratification on the other MF, which is designed to control all 4 decks (hence, 4-banks mode). that's an awesome set-up. |
