I wana hook up my 2 midi fighters up 2 my s4. Can i run 1 midi fighter with the deckalized mapping on deck c, and run 1 midi fighter and with instant gratification mapping controlling all 4 decks? That would be sweet Please help!

And if you're sure you ONLY want to control deck C don't use the focus mapping, use the standard deckalized and just delete the mappings for decks A, B and D.
I tryed this and when I import the 2nd mapping it overides the 1st one! SO frustrating

what you're missing is that you absolutely do not change the focus with the mouse or you will fuck it up and have to reset the midifighter at a very minimum if not restart traktor!

If you're using one of the deckalized focus mappings, do as it shows in the instruction video and hold the top left shift button whilst pressing the sync button to its right.

But learning trough others also means reading what was already posted by others

But to answer your question:

Yes, it's possible to have a deckalized and a instant gratification mapping on one Midi Fighter trough the "four banks mode".
This allows the Midi Fighter to, like the name already reveals, have four banks in which each button has up to four addresses based on what bank the Midi Fighter is in.

For example

Button 1 in:

bank1 = Channel 13 note F3
bank2 = Channel 14 note F3
bank3 = Channel 15 note F3
bank4 = Channel 16 note F3

But to pull this off with two Midi Fighters and 4 banks per Midi Fighter.. you'd want to be sure that all the banks don't interfere with one another because they're on the same midi channel.

Check that out here

In that same post is also described how to enable the "four banks mode".

Good luck!

Isn't the best way to learn through others?

IE a question?

I just figured that would the the best way...

With all the wealth of information here, why choose not to educate yourself a little? You'd end up making your own setup to how you like it, solve your own problems and create your personal midi heaven.

and to answer your question.. Well, duh.

you could load one MF with the deckalized-focus map which could control all 4 decks, and instant gratification on the other MF, which is designed to control all 4 decks (hence, 4-banks mode). that's an awesome set-up.
