Guitar Hero Control Mapping: Need Help
Guitar Hero Control Mapping: Need Help Posted on: 23.04.2011 by Robbyn Student Ok, I am having a few issues with making use of the How To DJ Using Guitar Hero tutorial posted months ago. I have Xpadder. I have a PS2 to USB converter. I have a GH controller with batteries. As I understand, this and a bit of creativity is all you need to pull this off.BUT... When I try to hit the buttons in my Windows 7 control pannel to check the Game Control setup, nothing registers. I have batteries. My device manager recognizes the USB adapter for the wireless GH controller is connected (my laptop beeps and the LED on the GH control connection lights up). What am I doing wrong? How can I correct this? Without WIN 7 registering the buttons on the control are being pressed, I can't move to using XPadder to create the keyboard commands for TSP or create a .tsi file. Any suggestions? | |

Kandy Ahdoot 03.05.2011 | with xpadder its pretty straight forward 1.connect usb guitar hero controller (mine was an xbox 360 wired one so installed the drivers for the xbox 360 controller) 2.open xpadder, new file then press each button on the guitar hero controller once 3.assign keystrokes to each button and save (and keep open) 4.open traktor go to the keyboard mapping. 5. so lets say you assigned the red button on the GH controller to keystroke "P" and you want to use that as the play button. all you do is in the traktor keyboard tsi is add play button then "learn" and hit p on your keyboard then un highlight "learn' now when you press the red button on controller it will be assigned to play |
