Reply to Help mapping LED outputs on s4

Hey guys,

Was wondering if anyone has had any luck mapping LED's on the s4. I have remapped all the gain encoder knobs and the 8 fx buttons (two under each gain knob).

I have mapped them so the first 4 fx buttons from the left turn all 4 fx units for each deck (A through to D). the remaining fx buttons I am using to turn on different effects such as delay and ttfx. All im trying to do is to get the LED on each button to toggle on and off when pressed. mapping the fx unit state only makes the LED flash for a split second when it is turned on, not stay on. The only solution I have come up with is to use modifiers on each button and when it is in the on state, get the LED to output the master level (flashes with the beat).

while it works perfectly with the s4 alone and it looks quite cool, my issue comes about when my 2nd controller is connected. if I turn the fx units on to a deck using my other controller (I DJ as a duo so we do this alot) , the correct LED won't light up on the s4.

Obviously I could just map it like:

....FX C TTFX...FX A..DELAY...........FX B.............FX D

And it would work fine as those buttons light up by default. But from a quick glance i believe it is easier to see which deck has the FX units on with my mapping above.
