Using an X1 and VCI100se at the same time
Using an X1 and VCI100se at the same time Posted on: 09.09.2011 by Dorsey Cesena Ok so right now I am using a vci100se with the 1.3 firmware and traktor pro. I have wanted to get traktor pro 2 and now I see that the X1 is being bundled with the full version of traktor pro 2.So now I wanted to know if I simply connected the X1 with the mappings that NI gives me and then connect the VCI100se and download some mappings that I find on these community s will they able to work together? Even if some of the features where to overlap? | |

Leeanna Ayla 10.09.2011 | That's a good question. It SHOULD be tied to your NI account and you SHOULD be able to sell the X1 and still keep the Traktor. I would ask NI before you buy of plan on selling the X1 though. |

Dorsey Cesena 10.09.2011 | Thanks. Ive been wanting to get Traktor 2 for a while now and this is a perfect excuse. Im usuing a pc with windows 7 so i guess that its more difficult to map than for a mac |
Chasidy Heckenbach 10.09.2011 | in short yes. so long as you connect each device's tsi to the actual in and out ports for that device, i.e: don't use the "all ports" option, it will be fine. tho i'm sure you'd want to come up with some custom mappings as quite a lot is probably going to be duplicated on each controller. plenty of mappings for both devices tho, so some kind of mix-and-match should work. or if you're on a mac you could always try the xtreme mapping app and merge different bits etc. |
