Yet another beat phase monitor question!
Hello everyone!
i know how to do that, but i'd like to do something "cooler".

i'd like to make my 4 LPD8's button on each beat.
So, the first button will ligho on the 1st beat, the second one on the second beat and so on...is that possible?!

Thank You so much!

the slicer in my midimasher that i released does that - tho it cycles round all 8 pads.

pointless imho to use an external app if it's only for the lights to look pretty there again i do like pretty lights

yes that's doable but you'll need an external program like loopbe1 so Traktor can receive midi messages from itself and then create a modifier system that will "count" the beats and bars from the information received from loopbe1.
My personal opinion is that it is a bit pointless for the work involved, especially for something that wouldn't work 100% of the time, if it's only for the cosmetic aspect.

As alternatives suggestions you could map the global volume output or you can fraction easily the beat phase monitor signal to get something like this (from 0:30 on the sample play buttons):
