VCI-100Se
VCI-100Se Posted on: 13.09.2011 by Rodger Seferovic Hey guys,I was wondering how Ean mapped the VCI-100Se volume fader so that when it reaches 0 it activates "effect 3 on". I"m trying to do the same with my Numark Stealth Control. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUBEN-0b2cY | |

Rodger Seferovic 16.09.2011 | Wow thanks for all the help Zestoi. I just figured it out!!! By putting Effect 3 on as direct AND Effect 3 on as Hold I was able to get it to work. Now when i hit the lowest point of the slider effect 3 turns on! |

Rodger Seferovic 15.09.2011 | With it with "hold" it still turns on when the volume slider is moved. Its off at its initial off position. I agree that in theory invert should work but it doesn't. |
Reece Murray 15.09.2011 | Try button>hold Not sure if that's it, (at work) but I have what you're asking about in my VCI mapping. |
Rodger Seferovic 15.09.2011 | It is but it doesn't behave like how you would believe it does. For normal (non inv) when you move the slider it turns on and when you reach the bottom it turns off. For invert when you move the slider it turns on and when you reach the bottom it stays on. |

Rodger Seferovic 15.09.2011 | Didn't know you could set midi range. |
Chasidy Heckenbach 14.09.2011 | i'm pretty sure that the vci se sends out multiple midi messages for the faders, with note on/off's when u get to the top and bottom as well as a cc message as you move it - with also an extra note at the mid point. u should be able to do the same thing tho by setting adding a new fx control with the midi range for the fader to 0 to 0 - and an inverted control to turn off the effect. haven't tried that tho. |
