Superb APC40 Map Posted on: 04.12.2009 by Jadwiga Mainka Greetings, Im going to post my map for my apc40, This map is the most fully functioning map ive seen to date. I hope you enjoy.Clip launch row1 buttons 1-8 cue/loop points in song row 2 Same deck B same row 3 deck C Same row 4 deck d Clip launch row 5 button 1 set loop ( this will correlate with the amount put on the knob) In track control knob 1) same for button 3 5 7 in row 5 clip launch clip launch row 5 button 2- manually set loop same for 4 6 8 clip stop button 1 3 5 7. load song abcd clip stop 2468 manually end loop correlates with the button above itt for manual loops scene launch row 1 a delete loop/cue row 234 bcd activator 1234 deck abcd headphone cue solo cue 1234sync abcd record arm 1234 play abcd activator 5678 turn on effect 1 abcd solo 5678 turn on effect 2 abcd volume 1234- abcd cross fader as cross fader track control knobs 1234 ( top row) set loop size Correlates with clip launch button 1357 track controll row 2 ( chaned effects 1) buttons below as activators buttons below are menu options ( self explanatory) device controlls channel 1 eq for a on top b on bottom ( gain high medium low) eq kills are the buttons underneath channel 2 is cd channel 3 filter top key bottom ( acitvator buttons on bottom) channel 4 bottom row of knobs effects chained 2) buttons underneath to acitvate) 567 are left open suggestions for them at end of review 8 knob 1 master volume control 8 knob 1 row 2 gain control on/off recorder button 1 turn record on channel 8 channel 8 button 2 to cut recorder play auto crossfade left rec. auto cross fade right suggestions- if one has turn table or cdj volme levers 5678 can be the pitch levers or an effect in the sliders 56 can be advanced or chained for effects 3 and 4. 7 can be anything enjoy it and please please post your additions and sunbtractions!!!! joey | |

I just downloaded it, find it very useful but cant really get the hang of it yet.. this is my first foray into traktor and I tried to load the tsi without even knowing and found it incredibly easy, great piece of software soo far.. if i could only get to know it a little better.. |

| See Bosquez 20.05.2010 | I'm not sure on this mapping though. I believe all the buttons on top are made to be your cues. (If i remember right, I don't use this anymore... I made my own mapping that works with the L.E.D's and all effects. etc.) The play buttons should be towards the bottom of the controller. Like i said though I don't have it in front of me and I have not used this TSI since I switched to Mac. |

| Anabel Newlen 19.05.2010 | Yeah< so Im new at this and I just set this thing up and ran it for the first time......literally! So I was wondering why you must hold the button down to get the track to continue to play. Do you have to hold it down the whole time????? Please excuse my ignorance. |
| See Bosquez 03.05.2010 | I just got my Mac and was using this with my PC. Works great.!!! If I start to make changes on it for myself do I need to do anything special for the LED's to continue to work? |

| Christel Seilhan 07.04.2010 | Hey Joey, Awesome map, best that I have found so far and close to what I wanted to do myself. I haven't figured all of the buttons yet, but will do over the next couple of days. Have you updated the mapping since posting this original thread? I'd like to solve the problem of only having the clip launch buttons lit when there is a loop loaded for that track. Cheers, Pete |

. I have been unable to successfully map the LED output to this. It seems the buttons on the APC40 erase any state that I had already sent to it. So I can initialize the buttons to flash or be whatever color, but any subsequent pressing of these buttons erases the state and sends the buttons back into their default mode where they only light green when held. I can't get them to respond to any subsequent LED output commands I send to them. I'm believeing your TSI should clear up a few things for me. |
| Verla Eduardo 11.12.2009 | Thanks! I really feel that that video is a big improvement to my other video game videos. The other ones seemed to drag on too much both in length and pacing. I believe I'm getting closer to the formula I need to achieve for my videos but I still need as much feedbacks as possible to reach that point. |

| Florence Alch 05.12.2009 | Hiya mate, do you have the issue when you try and move 3 or more faders at once? two move correctly and the third kind of skips and doesn't respond as expected? I don't believe its a mapping issue as it does it with ableton to. It's not really an issue but I'm just wondering if anybody else has experienced this. Secondly, do you have all the LED's working in this map? |
