New to djing
New to djing Posted on: 20.10.2011 by Zenaida Fells Hey, im new to djing, just got a midifighter pro (cue master) because it looks fairly easy to learn to use and fun to play. The problem, however, is that I have little to no sense of how to set it up and use it on Traktor pro. I set it up but the right fader and know don't do anything and the echo button doesn't stay lit or work when pressed. If anyone could help a rookie figure out mapping and basic control techniques it would be much appreciated. | |

Charline Dye 21.10.2011 | Doesn't the MF pro's have TSI files you can download and use? These are mappings already made for you. You can find them in the Midi Fighter sub community
. Mapping is not something anyone could walk you through in a community post. Everyone pretty much reads the manual, watches videos on YouTube, reads the blog posts and archives at DJTT, searches the community for answers, gets the traktor bible, etc. If you get stuck or have a specific question you can't find the answer to then post the question. I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, but there is just too much info you need to do it in a community post. I would start with the pre made mapping from DJTT. Learn to import and back up your TSI files which is covered in the manual. As for learning mapping, use the link in my sig below for my YouTube channel. When you get there go to my playlists (not my videos) and find the midi mapping one. That will get you started. Welcome to DJTT! |
