X-Session Pro 4 Modes Mapping
X-Session Pro 4 Modes Mapping Posted on: 03.03.2010 by Oren Arizola Hi guys,This is my mapping for X-Session Pro with Traktor Pro. The idea is control pretty much everything we need with no need to touch the mouse at all. With this mapping we can control thing like: - Play / Pause - Cue - Create / Use / Modify Hotcue - Beat Jump - Create / Modify / Active / De-active Loops - Tempo - Sync - Key - High / Mid / Low - Monitoring Cue - Browse / Preview / Load Tracks - Load / Turn On / Turn Off / Control Effects - Gain With the TSI file I also added a manual in PDF with screenshots and everything you need to start using this. Hope you guys enjoy it. Thanks Andre Leite | |

Florinda Yaggy 06.11.2011 | Hi, I cant get the effects to work with this mapping..any suggestions...the rest works ok. cheers |
Margrett Prudden 08.11.2010 | Thanks for the Mapping man. I'm new to Traktor Pro but have used the X-Session Pro for a couple of years with the basic bundled M-Audio software. This has pimped my XSP to new levels. I believe after an hour using your more basic 2 mode mapping, this is the one for me. I've slightly adjusted your mapping to revert back to the Pitch Bend buttons, just suits my mixing style better. |
Simonne Boettinger 08.09.2010 | hi! newbie here, and first time poster. Dont know if this is completely off topic, so if it is, my apologies. Im setting up my x session pro for the first time, and im trying to figure out how to set the kills for High low and middle to be the bottom of their respective knobs. is it something i need to add manually? any help or directions will be appreciated! |

Brunilda Douthit 23.04.2010 | first off, love the mappings, i checked your PDF and this is JUST what i was looking for! one tiny (or not so?) problem...after i load the presets only the left half of the device seems to be working...and the other half doesnt seem to be exactly how you wrote it on the pdf is there some trick to importing? or perhaps something i am doing wrong? i went to settings>controller manager i deleted my keyboard as a device, in case that was causing a problem...then deleted the mapping and reimported it after the first go round. I then re loaded the import file and it all came up fine. i then hit close and tried to play with it gains work, but the volume, highs mids and los and fx all dont work as expected. helpz? thanks in advance, sorry if im not clear, but im new to this stuff and trying to find my way |

My Steffe 05.03.2010 | I believe this mapping makes a lot more sense. Switching between 2 (or is it 3?) modes using the headphone cue buttons is much more practical than relying on the faders. Great job! |

My Steffe 04.03.2010 | It's amazing how much control you've packed into such a small controller, but don't you believe it's a little unintuitive? I don't mean to be rude, and appreciate your effort, considering there aren't that many mappings for X-Session out there, but I personally believe it makes more sense to put everything into a single layout, if you know what I mean. I know that you can't really fit half of Traktor's controls without making different modes, like you did, but I do believe that it could get confusing when you're in a rush. |
