mixtrack mapping
mixtrack mapping Posted on: 08.02.2011 by Kylie Prusko I am new to the Traktor software as I have come from the Torq realm, maping was quite easy there but here its a totally new ball game. Can anyone point me into the right direction as how to change my kill switches to hotcues? I know that I have to go to the mapping page but from there I am lost. If someone can let me know the steps to getting one (kill to cue) done Im sure the rest are the same. thanks in advance. | |

Shaunta Cocchiara 09.02.2011 | Hi there! Assuming that you are using Traktor Pro, here is how to remap your desired functions: The first thing you should do is making a backup of your tsi-file. Then go on with these steps: 1. Search for a string named "EQ High Kill" (or mid or low). Delete it (or simply reset it). 2. Next goto "Add in..." --> "Cue/Loops" --> "Select/Set+Store Hotcue" 3. Click "Learn" and press desired button. Click "learn" again. 4. Set the "Type of Controller"-value to "Button", if it isn't already. 5. Choose your Deck-Assignment. 6. Select desired HotCue (1-8) under "Button Options". 7. Repeat for the other Buttons. 8. Have fun with some Beatjuggling... |
