Mapping question about making pages using modifiers Posted on: 05.12.2011 by Kesha Pietrak Ok so Im getting an X1 soon and I was wondering is it possible to make it so that when I turn on one modifier the other modifier that was on will turn off?I know how to map and everything but this isnt really something Ive ever done before (Im planning on using the FX assign buttons in midi mode to bring up different pages) | |

Samual Ogura 05.12.2011 | Well it sounds like you may not even need multiple modifiers. You can use any of the 8 (0-7) values for Modifier#1, for example. I'd say no matter which way you choose, whether you use multiple modifiers or only 1, I'd map it with the controller interaction being "Direct". If you need any more explanation, let me know. |
Kesha Pietrak 05.12.2011 | Like I want each FX assign button to be a different modifier for all the buttons and knobs so the first button would be modifier #1, the second button would be modifier #2 and so on. So what I want is that when modifier #2 is pressed after modifier #1 is on I want modifier #1 to turn off. Ive never really worked with multiple modifiers so not sure how to explain it. Im sure if anything Ill be able to figure it out |
