hotcue mapping question
Posted on: 21.01.2012 by Ada Matzkin
im creating a mapping and for have assigned a shift key that is modifier 1 and state 1.

ive mapped hotcue 1 to a slot, and then with the modifier button held, i can press the same button to delete the hotcue.

however when i set it to the note/button that is set to hotcue 2, and press my "shift button" it erases hotcue 1?

You need to set it like this:

Deck A
Select/Set Hotcue 1: Button > Hold > Hotcue 1 M1=0
Delete Hotcue 1: Button > Direct > Hotcue 1 M1=1
Select/Set Hotcue 2: Button > Hold > Hotcue 2 M1=0
Delete Hotcue 2: Button > Direct > Hotcue 2 M1=1

and so on

*M1 or whatever the modifier number you are using is.

i also just noticed that if i am another location, say hotcue 3, and use my modifier button to delete hotcue one, it also jumps to hotcue 1 location? how can i make it so i can delete the hotcues without changing the location of the track at the same time?
