Quick question on Akai MPD pads and MIDI notes...
So I just got an Akai MPD26, and I'm most of the way through a really complex, but very fun mapping (bank A - cue points and fader fx, bank B - sample decks, bank C - global and deck view+other settings, bank D - effects).

The problem I'm running into is that every time I unplug and then plug in the unit, it resets the notes that are assigned to the pads. For some reason it defaults such that the top row of pads is the same notes as the bottom row in the next bank of pads. This overlap might be useful in Ableton where you're scrolling up and down, but for Traktor obviously I want each pad to be a different note on each bank.

So i have to manually set the notes using the Edit button and the rotary programming encoder at the top right, every single time i want to use my mapping.

Is there a way to set my note settings permanently?

Thanks,
