Traktor 2.5.1 and LPD8 issue
Posted on: 05.08.2012 by Tonja Upright
I am new to mapping but am trying to get my Akai LPD8 to do what I want.
Nothing fancy but the issue I have is that when I program the pads in controller management simple things
like play and pause work like a charm.
I shut Traktor down... reload my mapping... the pads don't work.\The knobs still work just the pads don't.
I go into the manager and re-learn the pads... they work like a charm again.
Since I really don't wanna have to do this all the time.. what am I doing wrong?
Any help appreciated at this point.

The problem is that it remembers the knobs but not the pads.
Ihave to go back in and "learn" the pads every time.

Check LPD8 editor. It look like pad midi notes are changing for some reason. Try to assign it and save configuration before mapping it in traktor.
