Axiom 49 mappings
SO...this is my personal mappings. It's not finished yet, there are some button and knobs that remain unused. In the list I put just the map that i remember but if you want i can give you directly the file so you can understand everything and tell me what's good and what's bad.
This is my first thread and i don't know if i done it well! I'm sorry for that.
And I'm sorry also for my bad english...i'm italian
let's start with the mapping related to buttons and knobs "outside" the real keyboard (did you understand which one???)
to the right we have 8 buttons:
from the right:
2x Play/pause 2DECK (yes i'm using just 2 deck because i don't know how to split the sound of 4 different deck with my internal audio...do you know how i can do it???)
2x sync
2x loop set
2x cue
then we have the knobs:
2x loops size
2x filter of the mixer
1x search list song
other
then we have the faders: i use the faders usually for sidechain effect taken from the web (more precisaly here so thanks DJTT)
fader 1: phaser + filter
fader 2: beatmasher (set to 0.4) + iceverb + reverb + peak filter
fader 3: transpose stretch + gater (white noise)
fader 4: iceverb + reverb + peak filter
fader 5: beatmasher + delay + reverse grain
and other two that i don't remember.
the pitchfader: key
than her we go the keyboard.
so from the left on the first 5 black key i set 5 different hotcue for deck A and in other 5 black key i set 5 different hotcue for deckB.
in other white key i map 10 delete hotcue...5 deck A 5 deck B.
so i have use the first 10 black keys just for the hotcue.
the last four black key are set:
1x beatmasher set to 0.4
1x beatmasher set to 0.8
1x beatmasher set to 1.0
1x as drop = play/pause one deck-----> pause/play the other deck.
so that's it. i'm sorry again for my english and my brain that can't remember anything.
ah i forgot to tell you that i have also 2 akai lpd8 that i usually use when i don't want to use the axiom or as a plus to the axiom (controlling single effect)
question?
=)
