Turn on effect banks using rotory knob?...(a thought)

you know the tradition way to turning on effect bank 1 or 2....you press that button (1 or 2) below that gain knob for each of the channel (A, B, C, OR D)

I believe is this a bad way make use of turning on effect banks.

i wondering if we can copy the method of the DJM 800, where you use the rotary knob, so you turn right or left to turn on effect banks for channel A B C or D.

that way you know there is only 1 channel is on at a time.

Hehe i was hoping you would come in on this.

so basically you got 4 buttons....one button for each of the deck turning on all 4 effect banks.

and at the same time....when 1 button is pressed....it turns off the other 3.

yea i had thought of that too...but i dont like wasting 3 buttons

I mapped that to my keyboard buttons since mostly effecting one deck with four FX units. Got A, B, C, D FX unit buttons that act direct. When any of decks is selected by press other three decks directly go off. I like to use it that way for quickly presetting call it "Unit on focus".
