iPad performance mapping for Traktor Posted on: 24.08.2012 by Kellie Myrum Hi guys,I'm working on mapping for iPad but since I don't own it (at moment) I wanted to know if some of you are interested to test it for me and share your impressions here. I created touch OSC template (see pic) with idea to make four banks of different FX preset buttons and for now I mapped MF instant gratification effects in to first bank. I have exported IG device from my bcd mapping and created template in touch OSC that match with same midi notes so it wasn't much work to do. What I added was FX Unit focus selector (label red). With this buttons you can toggle all four FX units for any of decks and it will work always the same no matter which one of the banks (labal amber) is currently active. touch OSC MF.JPG If somebody wants to participate let me know, I'll upload template and TSI file. | Kellie Myrum 25.08.2012 | I know that the best way is to remap whole thing for sure I just have a thought that it could be done the same like for maschine or any other which comes with controller editor. Isn't like CC is assignment for faders and encoders? If you can create push button with LED output and name it CC, cool even better. Just make sure to use Ch16. so other guys who will use this mapping might already have other controller that works in Ch01 or some other close to it. You get idea. |

| Royal Acoba 25.08.2012 | Okey I tested it. And nothing working. In TouchOSC Editor I entered all notes in ch.1 then I imported template to my iPad. iPad side is OK now. I imported your .tsi file. Nothing. I restarted rtpMidi and Traktor but nothing happening. After all of that I created a new command to test if there is a problem with my iPad and PC. But note is going iPad to PC. Do you have another thing to test. |
