MF3D Ableton mapping HELP!! Posted on: 10.01.2013 by Eura Hollifield So i got a midi fighter 3d for christmas, and ive been playing with all the premade packs and stuff. A lot of fun. However, i want to make my own mappings and have absolutely no clue where to even begin... If someone could help me with mapping out my own drum loops, synth, bass, effects while tilting, ect. thatd be amazing. Im really lost here, and dont want my $250 piece of gear
to just sit there because i got bored of using other peoples sound packs. :/ | |

Eura Hollifield 11.01.2013 | thanks for the advice im wondering, if i put the sounds into the drum rack, do they become playable from the MF automatically? and how do i map the tilting effects? everything helps. cheers. |
Merideth Garnder 11.01.2013 | Well....I'm assuming you Ableton Live right? Hop on YouTube on how to take samples from songs and learn how to chop your samples. You then load your samples that you made onto a drum rack.....and that's about it. Grabbing really solid sounds to make quality samples is the hard part and finding cohesiveness to use it during your sets is an art. Good luck! |
