Trying to get APC 20 working with NativeKONTROL using MidiPipe or Bome's
Being the fool I am, I bought the NativeKONTROL apC series for my APC 20, not realizing it's only compatible with the APC 40. So, I'm attempting to get my APC 20 to communicate with MTPlayer and the apC_series MIDI remote script in Ableton Live.

I contacted the developer, Stray, and was told the following:
"You’d need some sort of utility (like Bome’s MIDI Translator or Max) between the hardware and MT Player to translate between the differences in the APC20 and APC40 hardware. For example, the Shift button on the APC20 is note #81 on channel 1 while it is note #98 on channel 1 on the APC40. The APC40 has a dedicated Stop All button (which is note #81 on channel 1) while the APC20 does not."

Meaning that the MIDI notes are the same for the buttons, but the functions are different.
Does anyone know how I would go about this in MIDIPipe or Bome's MIDI Translator?
I'm new to any form of MIDI translation, so any help is much appreciated, and please let me know if anything about this is too vague.

Edit: I've decided I'd rather just switch my APC 20 out with a 40 or a Launchpad. If someone else would like to continue this thread, please feel free to do so.
