Reply to Traktor z2 help

I just picked up this mixer and while I love it there are a few things I can't figure out.

1. How to enable post/pre fader effects
2. How to enable samples to play as quick one shots. I was able to sort of get it but it requires me to switch to deck be then hold the button again until it flashes then finally the samples play fast.

Any help would be appreciated.
