Reply to S4 Gain knob control

Is there a way to set the gain knob to perform like the gain knob on for example in a Pioneer djm800?
I would like to control or fully cut or max channel volume in less than 1 circle turn of the knob.
now every full circle of the knob only changes a little volume level
