Traktor Pro 2: Jogwheels only 'scratch'
Posted on: 07.04.2011 by Shenika Dovich
Hey Guys,

Since i updated to TP2 the jogwheels dont need pressing anymore to scratch when the deck is paused. I did calibrate them again.

Feature, setting or bug?

If I scratch using the top plates or touch the outer rim of the jog while a track is playing it will only pitch bend. I can only scratch / nudge a track which is stopped.

How can I get back the default setting for the S4 jogs where I was able to pitch bend with the outer rim and scratch using the top plates of the jog ?
Preferences>Traktor Kontrol S4>jogwheel> unclick disable jogwheel push

Because you need to update to Traktor 2, original Pro S4 is discontinued.

In Traktor 2 i have to put the volume down to be able to cue the track silently.

So it's not the same as it was in Traktor S4 software..
Worked with the scratch sound for me. I don't see this as a problem either.

No, that does the exact opposite thing, disabling scratch and let the wheels only bend when playing.

It's not a bug, it's a feature, so you can cue your tracks before playing. It was present in S4 and TP1 too (for controllers without touch/push tops)

Nuh had nothing to do with the "disable jog wheel push"

Restring and calibrating solved the issue for me.
