Simple S4 stand for Pioneer DJM-6/800

Wanted a simple solution for putting my S4 over the Pioneer DJM mixers, so
invented a simple way with some square alu-profile and velcro tape :-)

The contruction is very stable, and sit in tight between the mixer and S4
Mounted some rubber-feet on the alu profile, to get over the 3 skrews on the
DJM-800 mixer, and taped the whole profile with black rubberish-tape, to get it
more stable.. then on the top of the profile, i put velcro-tape (the hard-part) and on the S4 (the soft-part... means that the 2 piece velcro has a soft and hard surface, not that is a hard job to do )

After that i took it on this weekend gig, and it worked very well...

Feel free to experiment yourself :-)

i love seeing hacks, and this is a very clever one i must say - nice job mate!

but what about having access to important controls like master level, or even more importantly Booth monitor level! I'd go crazy without being able to control my booth monitor volume throughout a set.

I'm guessing my gripe might be irrelevant to some DJs who rely on the sync function for every mix though, or prefer to mix in their headphones.

I really could of used this idea, just this past weekend. I was setting up in a really small booth and had some technical issues on the switch over. This idea could of made it alot smoother. I would like to see a company design some sort of stand for controllers with retractable legs that can be set at different widths/heights with rubber feet. It would save alot of people who use controllers alot of probelms.
