so i've been having alot of problem with my deck a fader
if i move my fader all the way to the top on my s4 the fader on screen in traktor will slowly start to move down it also does this sometimes when i have the fader at the bottom but if i have the fader just a little bit off from the top or bottom its fine
i've sprayed some compressed air on it but its not working
any help would be great
thanks!

I just had to get my S4 serviced for the same thing, though my problem was with the B Fader and the B/D Tempo fader.

NI wont fight you on a replacement. Oh yeah I got a brand new S4.

the deck A fader has been a common problem with quite a few S4 users. You're probably going to have to send it into NI to get it replaced/fixed as its a most likely a manufacturing defect. FYI sending it in has been the only real resolution to this problem thus far as compressed air/ cleaning hasnt really had great results, but on the bright side seems like NI has taken care of these people financially and gotten their S4 back to them in a reasonable amount of time (at least the ones I've heard of).

Have you tried to calibrate the fader? If that doesn't work you'll probably need to contact NI.
