Reply to Need help mapping midi key board to use with S2

Hi so i have had a s2 for about a year and it works great! Recently my friend gave me his Novation Impulse 25 midi keyboard to use, and i've been trying to figure out how to use it with traktor. I want to use it for effects while also using my s2. I've looked up a few tutorials about how to do it and i have a problem. Traktor (i have 2.5) recognizes that there is a keyboard connected to it, but when i try to assign effects and click learn and then press the button on my keyboard i want to use nothing is learned. I click on learn and it goes yellow, but i've hit every key on the keyboard and it doesn't seem to register that i am. I haven't had an experience mapping controllers before, but it seems relatively simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
