S4 - What to carry it in
S4 - What to carry it in Posted on: 10.10.2010 by Julissa Serrone Aside from the case meant for it, how do you guys plan on transporting your S4. I'm looking for a cool looking packpack that it will fit in, withough having to drop major bucks. Was looking at one of the old UDG bags, but I believe it's about an inch too small. Any ideas? | |

Had it shipped to Canada and only cost me around $135 for everything. There are few bags available at Amazon if you are interested. For me its real value for money. Only problem is that you dont have a zipper to close the controller compartment but that's OK. cheers fellas. I'm going to try to get a write up and video of all the stuff it can hold, but it definitely holds the S4, with a decksaver and all the other stuff you could ever need to fit in a DJ booth. And it does have the slide through flap to attach on rolling luggage handles, for the ones asking for that option. |

It comes with a sleeve for the S4, a 15" laptop sleeve and seems to have just the right amount of room. I'll be travelling with it from SF to Seattle in a few weeks, I'll let everyone know how it travels and whether I have any trouble with carrying it on. -kb |

| Kristofer Krauel 21.07.2011 | Gator Bag arrived. Perfect for what i need. used it at the weekend for taking my gear to a mates house. S4, Midi-Fighter, 2 x power supply, assorted cables (RCA's USB's etc), Headphones, Portable hard drive all fit with no drama. There is a compartment for upto 15inch laptop (no good for me as i have a full 17 inches)!! S4 fits in its specific compartment with ease. no stress placed on the sides of the bag and no tugging or pulling to get it in and out. the padded protection on the front and rear walls of the compartment are nice and thick and provice plenty of protection. Nice solid base also which provides protection and also allows this bag to stand upright without tipping over!! Also picked up one of these sleeves for extra protection. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Traktor-Kontro...item1e64c622b6 The S4once in the sleeve still fits the bag perfectly and is probably unnecessary when travelling to parties etc as the bag provides sufficient padding onits own - i only bought it as im taking my S4 to Ibiza on Sunday and wanted extra protection for the flight - wont be using the sleeve when i transport it about the UK though. | Mariano Godina 19.07.2011 | I sent my magma gig bag 25 back. It says it fits the S4 but it barely does. It's so tight and compact, it was generally poorly made too. I can see now how other people were saying that straps etc were coming apart after a month or 2. |
| Tamar Snipe 19.07.2011 | After contemplating which S4 messenger style type bag had a suitable slide on trolley strap to it, I ended up purchasing the Gator bag myself. I guess one major adjustment I will be making soon is sewing on/attaching some form of velcro type sticky strap to the back of the bag so that it can be strapped around my trolley handle. |

I would highly recommend spending a bit of extra money and getting something from UDG or Magma - My other UDG bag i bought 10 years ago which has been all over the world with me is in better condition than the novation bag i bought 6 months ago. You always get what you pay for eh |

There's a new laptop stand too, which is also good and a flight case for Pio's DDJ-*1 monsters. All good but all seem very expensive imo ... like 25-30% more than what it should be .. idk |

I had to get a tag for it it the gate on all flights but definitely wasn't worried seeing as though it provides plenty of protection. I was pleasently surprised. |
