VCI-100 Modding Hey all. I just got my hands on a vestax vci-100 and am wanting to find out a bit more about the unit from those who have taken it for a test drive. I believe vestax have done an awesome job in putting this toy together, and the casing and controls all feel like they are high quality and will take a bit of punishment. I dont know if it is a design fault or there are some settings i need to tinker with, but when i am cueing up a track on the jog wheels and scratching on the one beat, the track seems to slowly jog forward each scratch and i have to keep re-adjusting my hand position on the wheel to find my cue point. Is this something that cannot be changed, or are there settings i can adust to fix this problem?? maybe the wheels jog slower backwards than they do forward?? Is there any way to be able to scratch on the one spot without the track cueing forward? I am in the process of making up vinyl stick on face plates, with new controller assignments for traktor 3 that I am making up photoshop. Are there any tutorials on how to remap the midi controls to do cool things like ean's filter cut on the low freq knob?? Do any of you guys have pics of your vci-100's with re-assigned controls and face plates?? And tks files? thanks GaDgeT | |
