hey guys i was believeing on buying a esi MAYA 44 sound card and take out the modem board i believe is call lol (the inside of it ) and put in into the vci 100 for that i would have to drills holes on the vci but i had never open my vci so i dont kno with how much space i can work with..... i believe that the maya is the perfect one cuz the insede is compact and vestax used for there VCM100..... here im going to post the drawing of the project and please any ideas or feedback that u may want to say or u may have plz do it everything would be aprecciated

sidequestion: so suddenly the vci300 won't be usable with traktor? I heard it wasn't, then i heard it was, and now i read this >_<

man thats a good idea bro! i have the Gigaport AG, will that fit? keep us posted, cuz that would be a great project and a whole lot cheaper than buying the VCI-300, especially if you want to stick to traktor.

yea im working on that with the soundengineer lol what are looking to the possibility of putting another USB PORT

nice idea, hope you didn't forget that you'll also need to be routing out maya's USB cable to connect it to your pc

Did you see the VCI-100 upgrade video ean did ? that gives you a good look at how much room you have to work with inside.

heheh yea but i cant put the nio inside lol....if i want more sound quality i can always use my presonus firebox

I was believeing along the lines of like a raised stand that my big o' nio 2|4 could go inside of while the vci sits on top.
..maybe something that would stand nicely over a a 4-channel mixer. something to make the vci more club friendly. etc.

I dont believe theres room for a soundcard in the vci, the whole back of the unit is very busy with not alot of room back there Death to inbuilt sound cards anyway

yeah i should be getteng the soundcard by next week so i can start putting apart the vci hpefully there is eneough room
