Red Sonya 27.08.2008 | @ luv2xra: right now i'm using both the vci 100 and DJIO on USB powered busses. Up untill now, it runs stable. That's why i was wondering if such a pen light would take a big amount of power, since that could make my setup go instable |
Adolf Hit 25.08.2008 | @barf that was pretty ambiguous, I meant teh one in the picture! |
mohammed farhan 25.08.2008 | You should test it out in your home. If you need an AC adaptor for your VCI-100 then buy it. The most power hungry devices, should be plug in nearest to your ac connection, in your computer. Which is the sound card, I believe so. haha. |
Red Sonya 25.08.2008 | By "one of those", do you mean mine or jesc's example? |
Adolf Hit 24.08.2008 | Brought one of those for our gig last friday evening , they are the win! Power consumption of the one shown is pretty low. Should not give you any troubles. |
Red Sonya 24.08.2008 | oh, ok so it is what i thought it was =P http://www.usbgeek.com/prod_detail.php?prod_id=0564 Gonna go with that one tho, looks a lot more practical. Sidequestion on that: how much power do these things require from my USB port? Since uptil now i had my vci-100 and numark DJIO powered only through their usb ports. Could i get into trouble getting one of these? Or is their power consumption rather negligible? |
