Logitech's NEW usb controller for Traktor! Ok ok it's not really what the title states! LOL! Due to the lack of a controler that has all I need I have been using a Logitech G11 gaming keyboard to control traktor. I decided to make labels for my keys and thought it might intrest others. I used masking tape at first and then with a marker hand wrote what I wanted. This looked pretty cheap. So I started looking on the net to see what was available for keyboard key labels. After some thought I started making my own. This is what I came up with: Using windows excel I made a chart and created my key labels. Size wise I made them smaller to fit the keys. Printed the chart on a 8 X 11 sheet of label paper (that has peel and stick back) on a coloured printer. Next I laminted it (with a small laminator at work), now the trick is to have it laminated nice and hot so the plastic sheet sticks to the paper. If it's not hot enough there will be bubles and the labels will look dull. If it's too hot the whole thing will warp. You will know it's good when the labels are nice and shiney. Next I cut them out one by one. Peeled off the back and then stuck each label to the keys. One tip is NOT to use your fingers for this! Using tweasers made it much easier to align the label on the keys.
