Reply to DJIO Freezes Macbook

I am running a Macbook (leopard) with the djio, every now and then, (only when djio is plugged in) I get the mac equivalent of bsod, the grey screen that tells me there has been an error and I must restart. I have installed the latest drivers for the djio. Has anyone had this problem?
