VCI-100 + Korg Nano + Soundcard = usb hubs? Posted on: 13.04.2009 by Juliette Richtsmeier Hello djtechpeople, i need some suggestions for my setup. i'm running traktor pro on my macbook pro, model before the latest one, with a DJiO soundcard, VCI-100, and i'm waiting for delivery of my Korg Nanopad. As many of you are probably aware, the MacBook Pro only sports 2 USB ports, so i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to using USB hubs and which units should be run through the hub and which should go directly into the laptop port to decrease latency as much as possible, also if possible i like to run an external mouse since making quick modifications is a little stressful with sweaty fingers and the laptops trackpad. so yeah: should i use external hubs? which units into external hubs and which into laptop port? any suggestions on external hubs? any other suggestions are very welcome assets. | |
