Reply to DIY controller (Traktor)

OK, so I have been believeing about building a unit that will let me control traktor instead of just using my current setup of a USB keyboard custom mapped to my controls, I'm just struggling to find any information on the net as to what kind of chip and interface I would need to get myself started. I basically want the following:

Headphone cueing,
buttons for play, pause, loop, FX etc
crossfader
Input faders
Pitch control
EQ knobs
and obviously some way of connecting to my macbook.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
